Christmas Baking: Peppermint Chocolate Chip Cookies
Day 18 of 25 Days of Christmas
These cookies were shared at my Annual Cookie Exchange Party this year and they are just wonderful! I love the flavor combination of the peppermint and the chocolate. Please enjoy this recipe and if you make them, let me know!
Ingredients:
2 egg whites
1/8 t. cream of tartar
1/2 c. suagr
1/2 c. mini chocolate chips
1/4 c. finely crushed peppermint candies
Heat oven to 250 degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper and set aside. In a medium bowl, combine eggs whites and cream of tartar. Beat at high speed until soft peaks form. Add sugar 1 tablespoon at a time, while beating at high speed. Bet until stiff peaks form. Fold in chips and candies. Drop dough by round teaspoons, 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake 25-30 minutes or until dry. Cool completely before removing from parchment paper.
Tip: Egg whites should be at room temperature to products maximum volume when beaten.

I’m finished baking for the season but I am so putting these in my cookie book for next Christmas. Thank you for sharing! 🙂
My mother would love these! They sound so easy to make. Thanks for sharing.
