Christmas Baking: Banana Drop Cookies
Day 9 of 25 Days of Christmas
Banana Drop Cookies
In one bowl combine:
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
In another bowl put:
2/3 cup crushed bananas
In mixing bowl beat 1/2 cup butter, add 1 cup sugar. Then beat in 2 eggs. Stir in 1 t. vanilla. Add half the flour mixture and beat, then half bananas and beat. The add remaining flous and mix again. Then mix rest of bananas. Mix well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for about 8 minutes or until lightly browned. Frost and decorate when cool.

Hi Jules, I grabbed the banana recipe. I read a book that talked about a cookie exchange and each chapter started out with a little history of the key spice. Like Cinnamon, or vanilla. I love the idea of guessing what ornament goes with the saying.
